These are some of the shows from thirty years of worldwide diving adventures, plus my subsequent years of traveling to national parks and monuments in our western states. After all that diving-oriented international travel, I took up flying drones, and traveled all over twelve western states seeing the wonders as the eagle does.
Please visit my web site, divexprt.com for National park and drone galleries organized by state. There are also galleries for the many countries in which I took diving expeditions.

That was interesting. Music put me in mind of an old 1950s Western movie.
Utah! Near the Goosenecks of the San Juan river State Park. On highway 261. Interresting area, the Valley of the Gods is right there! Well worth a visit!
just wondering where this is at?
South East Utah, Not far from the Goosenecks of the San Juan State Park, Highway 261. The Valley of the Gods is right there!
When was this video shot?
music ruins it
Beautiful and diverse scenery
Awesome scenery. Beautiful colours. Love the old train.
Rugged landscape. Breathtaking.
Great to see you busy. Idyllic place.
I really hate that they put a fence up there now😡! What an eye soar😞
A true pioneer...I bought seveal of his books for which he signed in his travel office in the San Francisco water front. 1980s
My wife and I did Scenic 12 for the second time a month ago. This time though before heading out we did a big loop starting at Bryce into Kodachrome Basin, down Cottonwood Canyon Rd, out to Page, the Wahweap Overlook and Horseshoe Bend, back through 89A by the Vermillion Cliffs up to Kanab, ate dinner and back to Bryce Canyon. Then the next day we drove from Bryce to Boulder through the Hogback, then Burr Trail and switchbacks to Notom Rd on to Rt 24. Last time we just stayed on Rt 12 all the way to Torrey, also a beautiful drive. You really can't miss in Southern Utah it's all gorgeous scenery. Was there for 16 days this time and it's almost too much to take in.
CORRECTION: the Pathfinder Dam is on the NORTH PLATTE River, not the Green River as stated at 0:15.
We drove up this road 3 weeks ago and absolutely loved it! What amazing views! Very cool video!
Very good as always. I go to Escalante every year for photography and hiking. Your videos i consider the best and such soothing classical music.. I congratulate you. I have seen your videos of the area in the past and when I recommend the area to friends I refer them to your videos.

Beautiful love Idaho trying to make my way back
June 22, 2021, PAWR announced the establishment of yet another large testbed, based at Iowa State University in central Iowa. This testbed will be spread across Iowa State University, the City of Ames, and surrounding farms and rural communities. Funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, it “will create a multi-modal, high-capacity wireless mesh network including low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite links, a free-space optical (FSOC) platform, and long-distance millimeter wave (mmWave) and microwave point-to-point communications.”
Did it the white-knuckled way when I hadn't intended to, this spring. Saw no one. And no cell service in these parts, ya know! Was late getting into Monument Valley. An adventure, tho! What a great video and good music!
Beautiful footage. Thanks for sharing!
This is amazingly beautiful. Thanks for the video truly appreciated. The background music that you chose and the video footage makes it so relaxing.
Beautiful - thank you!
MUSIC SUCKS
This is the best introduction to the Moki Dugway that I have ever seen so far! Thank you for you share this video with us.
Loved the tour!! Thank you!
Now this is how it's done. Absolutely stunning.
Very nice video😇😇🥰
That music is way too much, beautiful scenery but unbearable to watch with that playing
Very nice Autumn Good job my friend
Amazing! Greatfull to watch it 👍👍
My ancestors worked on the dam and my cousins uncles etc all live in vernal which is about 45 mins away from flaming gorge and make up quite a bit of the population in this cute old little town. This place holds so much value to me. I come up around 4-6 times a year.
Great drone tour!
Did you have to register in Oregon to fly? I just read the law and I’m planning to road trip this Friday. Also did you run into any law enforcement while flying ? I don’t wanna get a big fine. Thank you if you respond
Everyone has to register their drone with FAA anywhere. You gotta check a map to see where is legal to fly and where is not.
Matt.Cook.Oregon mines is registered with the FAA but Oregon states you have to register it with Oregon if I’m not mistaken
@@mopar392ta3 Not that I know of. Just the usual FAA 5$ registration. A little more if you are a commercial pilot of course. I say most importantly just be respectful of people, not everyone wants a drone flying above them right.
Matt.Cook.Oregon yes I’m very respectful of people and animals. Thanks for the info. I am registered with the FAA. Cool aloha. And looks like I’ll be taking my drone 🤙🏽
Cool video. I am going there next week and had the same idea for a legal flight. Thanks for making that clear.
awesome and underappreciated
This is my favourite ☆.☆
Beautiful photos and music. I really enjoyed. Thank-you
Very nicely done video and loved the map at the beginning!
Went here with my cousins
how can one subscribe for the automated flow alert?
Thanks for a beautiful video. I’m thinking of going there this week. I wonder if legal to fly my drone there or do I need a permit?
Hi, Kena. I have gone there four or five times in the middle of the day with visitors and staff all over the place. Nobody said a word when I launched, acted as if they didn't even notice...
Carl Roessler Thanks Carl that’s good to hear, definitely try to fly my drone. I’m very excited for this road trip from Seattle. Hopefully a nice smooth ride and looking forward to this beautiful fall.
@@kena360 Your timing should be perfect for a decent flow. Good luck!
The anti-magic of having a camera look down on a waterfall or from some height that is above our own head-height, is that we have no way of telling how high those waterfalls are. The only way we can tell is by reference, usually in comparison with our own standing height, our view from down below, across from the waterfall's base. I was so hoping you would lower your camera all the way down to head-height so we could see how tall the waterfall was. Please, next time you go, would you please do that for your viewers? We have no framework of reference or perspective of size to help us unless you include in the frame something that is our size. The only moment like that in this video was the very brief frame of the "hardy hikers" that were down at its base. All too brief, that moment vanished as you continued on with your larger view that didn't afford us any perspective. Please and Thank you, I ask you to keep this in mind for the future. Remember, looking down on a waterfall is not usable to the human eye due to lack of perspective. Perspective is key in photography. Thank you. ~ Your choice of music was superb! Really great! Thanks.
Thanks for the suggestion. When you are flying there, a lot of clay is flying around.in the spray from the falls. My car, my laptop and my drone ended up covered with the stull. I was therefore very cautious about going further down into the canyon, where the spray was dense. You can see it in this: vimeo.com/298490441 My three trips there are chronicled here: www.divexprt.com/HDRphotography/Drones/ArizonaDrones.html Thanks again!
@@divexprt Thank you so much for sharing all that, I appreciate it. Watching this again, let me say how beautiful your footage was, and how seriously great the music. :)
I went there when it was dry. I figured out later that if you're coming south along 89 and you pass over the Little Colorado, that's the best way to tell if it's even worth going.
movie music
love it, thanks for the infos.

Nice footage. The Little Colorado starts in Greer AZ. I was there during a particular warm spring and the water was side to side and so deafening you could not carry on a conversation. I was there a few weeks ago hoping for lots of water. I did not know a bout the USDA site. thanks again.
Nice video, will be back there again shortly. Goosenecks is on the San Juan river - not the Colorado. Still very impressive. Should note that there are some wonderful hikes up on the Cedar Mesa once you get up the Moki Dugway of some fantastic ruins and other sites.

Hi. I am hoping to record some drone footage at Newberry. Do you know if there are any regulations there?
